or products that we offer. This information is collected through the use of cookies
in interfacing with member traffic to the site. "Cookies" are small pieces of

on your computer's hard drive. Also, when site visitors or members request pages
from our Web server, the server automatically collects some information about
the users, including their IP addresses. Computers on the network use these addresses
to send the requested information to you.
Use

Except as specified herein,
it is the general policy of LawPartnering, Inc., not to reveal personal information
about members to third parties without the member's permission and to use reasonable
precautions to keep this information secure.
LawPartnering, Inc., uses
the IP addresses of visitors and enrolled members to administer this Web site,
respond to member comments and diagnose problems with our servers, as well as
to gather broad demographic information about site users. The general demographic
information does not contain anything that identifies users personally or that
can be used to identify them. We may combine demographic information supplied
by members during enrollment with site usage data to develop profiles, in aggregate
form, about our members and their preferences regarding the content of the site
and the products or services we offer. LawPartnering, Inc., may share this composite
information with existing or prospective sponsors to help them better understand
our member profile and the dynamics of our site. However, specific information
about individual members is not distributed to sponsors or other parties, except
as herein specified.
The LawPartneringSM Institute
periodically sends out email newsletters or bulletins using subscriber and member
contact information for this purpose. Institute members can indicate if they prefer
not to receive these email communications. Third parties are able to access our
members only through advertisements on our site or within our newsletters or bulletins,
or as a result of our members asking to be placed on a list to receive information
from our sponsors on certain subjects of interest.
This Web site also uses
cookies to deliver content specific to our members' interests and to honor their
preferences. The information gathered about visitors and members of the LawPartneringSM
Institute is used to guide us in creating a site that serves the needs and
interests of our users. Upon request, LawPartnering, Inc., will remove member
information from our database or permit members to "opt out" of future email communications.
Of course, we will share
personal information about you with other parties when you request or order materials
or products available from the LawPartneringSM Institute or others through
this Web site. In such event, only so much information will be provided as may
be necessary to make an appropriate record of your request, ship your materials
and contact you about the status of your order.
Also, if you elect to participate
by posting messages in our discussion groups, on message boards or during online
educational events, your real name and email address will be posted together with
your message. In this regard, you cannot hide your identity or email address from
other members of the Institute and the posting of anonymous messages is not allowed.
This exception to our general policy of privacy allows us to protect our member
community from abusive postings and provides a verifiable point of contact should
legal questions arise.
Please remember, if you
volunteer other personal information about you in posting messages in our public
or private forums (such as your telephone number or mailing address), that information
is available to all other persons having access to those forums and may be used
by someone in ways unintended by you. Your disclosure of information in such manner
and the consequences thereof are your sole responsibility.
Also, please note that
LawPartnering, Inc., may disclose member information if required to do so by law,
court order, as requested by other government or law enforcement authority, or
in the good faith belief that disclosure is otherwise necessary or advisable including,
without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of LawPartnering, Inc.;
or when we have reason to believe that disclosing the information is necessary
to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing
interference with the rights or properties of LawPartnering, Inc., whether intentionally
or otherwise; or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities).
